Description:REODISP/FL is high performance liquid dispersing synthetic-polyelectrolyte agent for tunneling and drilling. REODISP/FL is used for drilling and for shield tunneling (TBM), in presence of high fine aggregates percentages ( i.e. clays ) and when the aggregation between mineral and shield has to be prevented ; moreover it is used as dispersing agent in injection mixes where there are hydraulic binders combined with bentonite and just with bentonite.
Composition and Application:REODISP/FL is specially formulated for generating an immediate dispersing effect, preventing the clays or bentonite aggregation due to mineral electrostatic charges. REODISP/FL thanks to its polyelectrolyte chemical nature has great efficiency even if presence of very hard water.
Temperature ranges which may occur during the drilling and /or tunneling phases ,do not have any influence in REODISP/FL.
REODISP/FL is applied in the tunneling field after a mix with water :it is advised to let the solution in contact with the ground for 6-8 hour.
In the TBM application field it is advised to proceed as follows: mix the product with water and inject the mixture at the tunnel face so that the ground becomes plastic and the drilling easier ,preventing the clay clogging phenomena.
As far as REODISP/FL use in cement-bentonite mixes is concerned, it is advised to proceed with the common components mixing , adding the product before the bentonite .
Recommended Treatment:The dosages depend either on the application field and /or on the ground water consolidation degree.
Our technical laboratory is at the customers complete disposal for evaluating the optimum required product dosage .Dosage for various application;
Drilling: Range 0.1 % -0.6 % in water
TBM: Range 5-10 kg each m3 conditioned ground
Injection Mixes: Range 0.3 % -0.8 % in weight on the cement weight
